You can check out the curly cocktails you may choose from if you win the contest here. Basically there will be three winners and each will win a curly cocktail of their choice. The cocktails are designed for curl type, and there is one for transitioners and one for all curl types. However, you may want to check out each cocktail and the different products it includes, as curl type is not the only determinant of what products will work for you. The curly cocktails are a great way to sample high end brands that tailor to curly hair, and the Curlmart website is a great marketplace that brings together a lot of curly brands.
The winners will be emailed by me after the contests ends. Once they respond with the curly cocktail they want (if you have no idea I can help you choose) I will email their address to NaturallyCurly who will send the cocktails out in about a week. If they do not respond within a timely fashion (a couple of days) I will choose another winner.

i would like to see what products really work to make your hair nice and healthy
ReplyDeleteIn the spirit of the holidays, maybe do a video on donating curly hair to organizations such as Locks of Love. Talking about the difference between "virgin" hair, promoting growth or dispelling some myths about donation. Some people seem to have the misconception that donations can only be made with straight hair or they don't understand that their curly hair MIGHT actually be long enough - they stretch out our curls to meet the length requirement. I just did this and while I miss my length, it fulfills a wish for someone who is already going through so much and it's something that I take a lot of pride in being able to say that I did. I know it'd be a departure from your usual videos (which I love!) but I think it could be worthwhile!
ReplyDeleteI'm really interested in seeing what natural-organic products work best for curly hair.
ReplyDeletei love the product reviews :) (do6the5cool7wip on youtube)
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a video about shorter hair. Most videos are for type 3 very short or much longer hair than mine. I really struggle with it. Love it somedays and hate it others. Also like your product testing. I have many bottles of stuff that just does not work for me.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a video on heatless ways to manipulate your curl pattern! I recently gave away all my hot tools because of the all the heat damage they were causing to my hair, and my curls don't curl the same tight ringlet-y way. Any tips?
ReplyDeleteMore fashion videos and hauls! I'd also love to see an entire video for all the shampoos that you used you like and have worked for you. Another for conditioners and another for products!
ReplyDeleteI think what you've done so far is great! For me, I love product reviews, it allows for me to see products that may not be where I'm at but I can purchase online. Also, it hairstyling ideas. I am so tired of wearing it in a pony :)
ReplyDeleteI love your explanation of the curly girl method and the products that are included in the method. I would love to see more fashion videos.
ReplyDeleteHello Sarah. I just want to thank you! You taught me everything there is to know about the curly hair method. I was wondering if you can make more videos on how to use hair accessories and how to wear them with different styles of clothing. Thanks
ReplyDeleteYou got me into the Curly Girl Method! What I would like is a video on hair growth and CG hair growth products. I have 3b hair, but not a lot of it so I don't know what to do with it half the time. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI think you should do an updated curly regimen and how you keep your hair healthy and long.
ReplyDeleteIt would be awesome if you did a video on your favorite shampoos. I know that you prefer the no poo method but for those of us who aren't willing to abandon shampoos just yet, a video about the best/healthiest shampoos would be very helpful =)
ReplyDeleteI would also love to see a video on heatless ways to manipulate your curl pattern! I usually use the diffuser on my hair, and don't change up my curl pattern much even though I know my hair is capable of changing it up a lot!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a video on roller setting :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a video about good leave in conditioner from drugstores (:
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a vlog about staying curly. Lately, way too many people have been telling me I HAVE to straighten my hair every day, when I usually straighten it around twice a year, if even that. I've run out of things to say in my defense.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more fashion videos, as well as videos on affordable hair accessories that are less likely to damage the hair.
ReplyDeleteHello Sarah :) I'm a french curly girl and I looove your videos, thank you !
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a video about the second day and how you refresh your curls and a video about your favorites shampoos (sulfate free).
Continues comme ça, tes vidéos sont super !
BISOUS !!!
Hi Sarah, you have been my hair crush for years now :D so thank you so much for being there, as you might not know but I started learning from you on wikihow 2 years ago, but never new you have a blog :) your hair is awesome and I aim for mine to look like yours very soon.
ReplyDeleteI would like more videos on deep conditioning and some tips for your length retention, as in if you kept any particular style when it was shorter and so on...
We are a household of 3 abcs so hugs from Brasil, Holland and India to you.
Hi Sarah! I love your videos!! I would like to see a video on how you do your routine when traveling. I was on a trip and had such a hard time making sure I had all the right things and rinsing my hair in a strange shower (with a non-adjustable shower head) was a pain. I was asking myself WWSD?!?!?
ReplyDeleteHey Waterlily716 :-) i love all your curly hair videos and i am now doing the curly girl method and its working beautifully for my hair. i would like to see you do some of the deep conditioning recipes that are in the curly girl handbook, and also i think you should do more OOTD's or Get Ready With Me videos :-)Also thank you for the awesome giveaway curlmart!
ReplyDeleteHey, Sarah! i would like it if you did ootd since you dress so pretty! Also a video on how you straighten your hair!! (: Btw, thanks for doing this giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteHey sarah! i would love if you did a video on more reviews on hair products. More that you can find in drug stores or grocery stores. i love all of you videos and you've helped my hair so much! thank you for everything!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah! I made a YouTube account just to subscribe to you! I've been watching your videos for a while now and have found them to really helpful and informative. And your hair is just so pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you could make a video on the different CG techniques, like the SuperSoaker method and Icequeen method. It would be a million times easier if you explained it and showed it to us. (even though some methods already have a video on it, you can just explain your take on it.)
Also, you could do a video reviewing the new CJ Pattern Pusha gel. I love your channel and stay curly! ;)
I would like to see a video on how to dye curly hair. Thanks for the giveaway. I love your you tube channel. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI would love a list of drug store or more accessible curly girl products - In Canada we don't have Sallys or Deva Curl Salons (near me at least). I know you've given lots of lists of ingredients to avoid, but I seem to find those things in everything I pick up! Thanks for the great videos! Have a fabulous Holiday.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a video on you walking us threw deva hair cut and what its like or what other options for us that cant find deva cuts in our area .....
ReplyDeleteYou should start making daily vlogs:) its really fun to watch! love you x
ReplyDeleteI Love all of your videos! But I would like to see more review videos, I trust your opinion on products a lot. Also I love when u do videos on how to Style curly hair. I like to try different things and you always have cute ideas :)
ReplyDeleteGreat vids! I new about the CG method from an old stylist i went to but i learned much more from watching all your vids... TY!
ReplyDeleteI love when you do hair styles tutorials, so that'd be what I'd love to see, more how-tos for hair dos! :D
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a video about how you keep your bangs nice and curly throughout the day. Mine dry out and get fizzy and become a hassle. Or a video about your every day life just to see what else you do.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more videos on products that are good to use in the winter, such as products that have moisture. Cute hair protective styles. Luv ur videos:-)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your videos. It helps me alot. I live in Singapore and in my country shops don't cater to curly hair (type 3). I would like to see new videos about home made hair treatments that can help people like me (shahirahalkaff@gmail.com and shahirahalkaff[youtube account]
ReplyDeleteI would love to see you do a video on a curly hair routine for winter! step by step what you use. Thank you, love your videos (:
ReplyDeleteI would like to see what you think the best products for different curl patterns are and help for those who take a shower at night and then have to sleep on their curls. (youtube username is skeigwin)
ReplyDeleteI think it would be super awesome if u made a video specifically on the ingredients we should watch out for on curly products like all sorts of gel, conditioners, mousse etc. This Would Be The Ultimate Video for us Curly Girls!!! i know i have a lot of trouble following the CG rules because of this but if u made a vid, about it, I'd watch it Every Time Before i go out to buy my hair products :) I find that mousse works better for my 3b hair than gel and doesn't weigh my hair down so if you could include mousse ingredients or whatever info u have that would be great! :)
ReplyDeleteI think a video would be great on how to cut curly on yourself. Because I want to save money in between cuts, so I saw the curly girl book which showed how to do it, but it's kind of confusing. Also, when you have grown your hair to waist or beyond you can do a video on how to style. I have waist length 3a/3b curls and it is hard to style and maintain the curls and to know which products works the best.
ReplyDeleteMore videos with pretty hairstyles for curly hair like the Taylor Swift one. It's hard to find ones that work for curly hair as well. Everything seems to be made for straight hair :(
ReplyDeleteI think some Outfit of the Day videos would be really cool. But I'd also love more videos on curly hairstyles... I have a terrible time managing my hair, so it usually ends up in a ponytail day after day.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a video on things you can eat to make your hair healthier (:
ReplyDeleteI would love to see how you give your hair trims
ReplyDeleteI would like to see videos for fine-haired curlies.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see heatless curls.. flexi rods, fabric strips etc.. love your vids!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more hairstyles. I love your channel!
ReplyDeletei would like to see more hairstyles for curly hair
ReplyDeleteI would like to see videos of waterlily716 using/trying and giving a review on the kiny-curly custard, kinky-curly leave in conditioner, and the Mane N' Tail conditioner. Also hairstyle tutorials and how to tame frizzy hair would be the most helpful of all! Your curly routine would also be wonderful! Another video would be heatless curls (if you can).
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OG YOUR VIDEOS AND HELP! MY HAIR HAS IMPROVED A LOT! I ALSO JUST LIKED NATURALLYCURLY.COM ON FACEBOOK
TO BAD I DON'T HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT :(

I would like to see more curly hair style tutorials for different occasions like for casual ones, for night parties and also for more glamorous events. Thanks a lot for the time you put in your curly videos!
ReplyDeleteI love all your videos Sarah! I'd like to see some more ideas on styles to wear in our hair. I was excited to see the Taylor inspired one recently. Maybe some other ideas you use those spin pins in!
ReplyDeleteI also really loved how you did the tutorials on how you style your hair. Maybe show us different products and how different your hair looks by using different things/what works best for you/etc.
This is an awesome giveaway! I've followed you for a long time and you actually follow me on tumblr lol (smashleighfig) and I'm so excited that you've got 1000 subscribers now, that's awesome!
I have a problem with a cowlick at the back of my head. It starts auto-separating into pigtails and I was wondering if you knew a way to prevent this so I can get second day hair.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Where you get you hair accessories, like that scarf in your video :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see some really pretty naturally curly updos! Some with a little more sophistication than just a twist and a claw...lol!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the giveaway!! I've been watched you videos for a super long time and have implemented many of your techniques! Thank you!
Just keep the tutorials coming, they are soooo helpful!!
ReplyDeletexx
I love product reviews! so anytime you try a product, please share! thanks sarah!!
ReplyDeleteAll the products you have used AND love. Including styling products.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more videos about hair styles.
ReplyDeletebraided styles
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more videos about hair styles as well. I would also like to have more information on air drying and ways to get the air dry look faster, like with clips or with professional dryers etc.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more product reviews and hair styles :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see you do a video on cowashing and deep conditioner methods. Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI've learned everything about caring for my curly hair from you! I would love to know how to trim my own hair! I get so nervous about going to the Salon because they always cut off too much, and I've worked so hard to grow it out. Most salons are only familiar with cutting straight haired girls and I do not have the gas or money to go out to Atlanta for a Deva Cut! So if you've mastered trimming your own hair please share!!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a video of how to determine your curly hair type as well as how to style for each curly of those curly hair types. i have a hard time determining my curly hair type and still am trying to find a routine that fits me best. i just wish i had your hair sarah! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd honestly really like to see some more hauls, like a couple other people here. In the way of curls, however, perhaps some more CG method-related videos. Your big video about the method is fantastic, but a few more videos on the other bits of the method, like determining your curl type, trimming your hair, so on and so forth.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a slightly higher quality camera used. I don't meant this in a mean way, but maybe just better lighting in some videos so I can really see the curls, cause I want to get as much of your good information as I can :) Also, I would like a curly hair type identification video, so I can truly figure out which type I am. I would like to see more hauls too, because you can never know and own enough hair products, plus they give me something to think about when I go shopping for my hair. Also, one on hair care such as trimming, types of haircuts, different routines, what kinds of haircuts there are, what devacuts are, and your product collection. THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT TIPS AND VIDEOS!! KEEP IT UP!! :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see hairstyles at home, how to trim your hair, your favorite products (hauls, collections) and where you buy your products. I would also love to know routines you do, how you dry your hair (diffuser, shirt, towel, air, with clips?) I really need to know how to identify my hair type, because I can't seem to figure it out. Lastly, I REALLY need to know how to tame top-layer frizz, because the rest of my hair is always ok except for the top layer. It makes me fristrated!!! Please consider these options as many others would probably enjoy seeing them too :) THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteI am a 14 year old girl who would love to know more about how to care, trim, wash, style, dry, and deal with my curly hair. I've always had freakishly thick, very curly hair, either type 3a or 3b, and I would love a video on identifying hair types and what works best with your hair. Also, the ultimate frizz remover (haha) because the top layer of my hair always manages to be frizzy while the rest is good. I don't wear it down to school because I need a sort of quick, good routine for the morning, and I need good products that will keep if from puffing up. I like watching hauls because I can learn what's out there, so I can see what to buy. I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to win this because my parents don't get fancy products that actually work for my hair, just good haircuts. KEEP UP THE GREAT, REALLY HELPFUL VIDEOS! THANK YOU AND THANKS FOR THE GIVEAWAY AGAIN!!
ReplyDeleteYour videos really helped me choose products and learn the rules of a curly girl. I finally love my hair after a lot of years of fighting with it.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a video on how you refresh your hair on day 2, 3?.
I'd like to see more videos in which you demonstrate curly hairstyles.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more videos on different hairstyles for curly hair.
ReplyDeleteI really want to see a video with your opinion on how you believe your curly hair influences your confidence and attitude toward your daily journey? Thanks! -Chelsea Greene
ReplyDeleteBest products of 2011..you could use hair & makeup products. Trimming your own hair and easy, cute updos!
